To understand the future of the digital world is to understand the people who are creating it and, therefore, naturally redefining it.
Saia is of Tongan and Fijian descent, and a proud South Aucklander from Mangere. Saia has experiences in the private, public, not for profit, and startup/tech sectors in NZ, and the Pacific. Particularly in the areas of strategy, equity, digital, stakeholder engagement and community development.
Julia is of Samoan, Chinese and British descent growing up in Tāmaki Makaurau. Julia is an international strategist and insights specialist. During her time overseas working for HP (Hewlett Packard) in London and San Diego she recognized that technology exacerbates inequities and returned to Aotearoa. Julia is dedicated to looking at how technology can impact the most amount of people for the better, advocating progress that reaches the whole of society.
